Fit Family Robinson visits the Monterey Bay Aquarium

kellen (age 11) Today we went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. I liked the jellies they were very interesting. I also got an awesome video of an octopus moving around. There was a huge fish called a giant sea bass. In the touch pool there was a flounder and some sting rays. For lunch I got clam chowder, it was my first time ever trying it. We saw the sea otters being fed. They were funny to watch and we also saw the fish in the kelp forest being fed. A diver swam down into the tank and started scattering food. The Monterey Bay Aquarium is awesome!

blake (age 8) The Monterey Bay Aquarium was awesome! I watched sea otters be fed, I saw them swimming around in circles, it was awesome! We saw penguins. I mean, PENGUINS! How can people live without penguins?! They were cute too. Then we saw sharks. I mean, what is an aquarium without sharks? I saw really big ones. And I saw a turtle. He was awesome too. Then we saw some octopi. I saw this HUGE octopus. It was red. And last but not least, the jellyfish! They were cool. There were little ones big ones, tiny ones and giant ones. It was fun. And guess what? You can see what is happening at the aquarium live on their website. It was really fun.
